when I moved in I was very happy for about one wek and that is no lie. After a week the problems started. After one week I walked into my apartment and there was a flood from the upstairs neighbors water heater busted. Then there was my stove which took them three times to fix. The problems slowed down other than clog sink and bath tub which I figured that is normal. Little did I know those were not probems. As soon as june hit there came the mold problem, which I was told that is why you have renters insurance. I have had mold in every closet of my house and the bathroom. I have had to throw out shoes, coats,my daughters good dresses and pocket books. No one cares but, they always try there best to be politely saying "yeah ok, how about never"! I have since purchased everything I can buy to avoid mold and I always smell mold in my bedroom. I dont know how much longer I can stay and hope to get wavy t.v. news 10 and the health department in here asap! Those of you looking to rent an apartment just know they are professionals at making everything look good on the outside. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER EVEN IF ITS THE BEST COVER YOU HAVE EVERY SEEN!!

My family and I just moved out of Linkhorn, after being there a few years, only because of bad credit. It started out nice, but we had our apartment broken into, and we were robbed!!!! They didn't even want to come out and fix our door that had been broken into. This place is horrible. We were able to switch from a 1st floor apartment, only after threatening to call an attorney. And anything that was wrong with the new apartment was NEVER fixed, in the 11mos that we were in that apartment. I would NOT recommend this apartment complex to anyone. They do not fix anything, and the supervisor that is in charge of maintenance will tell you "this is not an emergency". They left us without water for a 1 week one time, and had to stay in a hotel, and then one time, came to fix the AC, and left us without power, and told us they didn't know what they had done, and to call Dominion Power, in the middle of June!!!!
I think everyone should call Wavy TV 10 about them. The health department should be notified. They do not update anything in their apartments. Our toilet was older than I am.
My husband threatened to call the corporate office about them, and they told him if he didn't leave, they were going to call the police. All because he went in and wanted to know why no one had been to fix our apartment.
Oh, and they replaced our windows one afternoon when we were at work. Nice, you would think. But they left broken glass in my 5 year olds bed!!! Great huh.

I agree with both of these posts. I would love to see this place of Wavy TV 10. I think this is a story that Wavy would love to report on. Most of our complaints and issues really haven't been taken seriously since we got a pretty awesome deal during the month of February. They can't wait for us to leave so they can rent this crappy apartment to someone else for much more than we're paying now. Please call Wavy, or I just may have to!
