If you are looking for a quality place to live, don't waste your money!!!!

We have lived here for 2 years. Upon moving in, we filled out an extensive list of things in our apartment that needed to be repaired, none of which was done - we've adapted.

Let me dissect the perks of living here for you:

Swimming pool - very limited hours, open end of May through August
Gym - they keep threatening to take it away
"Friendly" office staff - I'm sorry to say it, but the others are right, they are rude as all get out. We were treated like royalty before we paid our fist month's rent, not we're treated like crap. There used to be a sweet younger girl that worked in the office, but she has moved on...
Large, open field - I think we may be the only pet owners who clean up after their dog. Play at your own risk!!!
Sand Volleyball Courts - I wouldn't touch that sand if someone paid me (see comment above)
Garages/Storage Sheds - Good luck getting one anywhere near your apartment. (Make sure the lady at the desk has the map trned right side up when she points out your unit, it took me forever to find mine after waiting 8 months).
Convenient Parking - Yeah, right. It only looks convenient in the middle of the day when everyone is at work. I'd slash tires if it didn't mean the car would be parked there longer.
Large, Spacious Floorplans - No complaint. (Just one - there isn't a light in our second bedroom)
Quarterly Pest Control - Our apartment was infested with fleas when we moved in. I about killed myself with all the bug bombs.
Location - If the wind blows just right on a hot summer day, plug your nose... There's a landfill about a mile away.

In the first 45 days we lived in our apartment, 3 doors fell off their hinges, a toilet fell over, our furnace leaked and we had a flood in our living room, and earned our upstairs neighbor was closely related to elephants (we've since had 2 more above us, who drop what sounds like a piano every morning around 3 and the girl that just moved out had no business singing Christina Aguilera songs). In our first year, we found mold in the furnace and were given a chance to opt out of our lease when we asked the landlords to clean the system (we found the mold after a persistent case of pneumonia)and had major ant infestations in our spotless kitchen (we later found that whoever installed the window in the kitchen didn't caulk around the bottom).

If you still want to live here know that all of your appliances will be loud, water pressure will suck in one or both of your showers, and if you have a problem you'll most likely be on your own.

I forgot to add, in our first 2 months here, there was a shooting and a gang fight in the street that runs parallel to us (Glen View, perhaps).

I don't understand if this place sucks so bad than why are you still living there? I would have tryed getting out as soon as possible. Im trying to find a place to live when I get back from being overseas and your comment is throwing me off. And if there was a damn gun fight in the first two months I would have gotten the hell outta there.

how come you didn't take any photos to back up your claims if all of this became a legal matter? I think photos would help me believe your bad review over these good reviews
