The military moved my husband and I to the East Coast and we moved into "hell" sight unseen. The office ladies are completely rude and did absolutely NOTHING all day. When you would come in to put in a service request, they acted as if we had killed their 1st born child and it was a complete burden to lift a finger to put in the request. Sometimes, they dont even put in the request, but tell you they do anyway. It takes FOREVER for the maintainence guys to even show up, and once they get there they dont know what they are doing, and tell you they cannot fix your problem. Then never return with a solution. Our floors were warped, ceiling was leaky and cracked in numerous places. We had ant problems 9 different times. There were countless slugs roaming through my kitchen. Plus we had mice. Which they would not take care of. Our back gate would not lock and at times would not even close, so my whole neighborhood could come into my "PRIVATE" patio and take what ever they pleased. My car was broken into, and all they did was "Make a note of it in my file" gee thanks. Then when you are finally out of there when your lease is up, they take you for every penny you have. Eventhough you HAD to pay a cleaning fee before moving in, they still charge you for cleaning. GOD forbid you had a pet while you were there. You pay $400 pet deposit (which they say is a pet fee) plus $20 extra dollars a month. By the way that $400 DOES NOT go towards your deposit when you move out to repair the townhome. They say that its "Free money that we give to them. It doesnt count for anything, it is just money to give them." For what'!' If you dont use it, then can I have it back' NO! After paying over $700 in deposoits they still have the balls to charge me $600 in additional move out fees. Because They dont apply my deposits to move out expenses. Then why in the world do I have to pay them then' Oh thats right its to pay the snooty office girls can sit on their butt all day and be rude to everyone. They dont care about tenant care, its all about the money here and I am glad my hands are wiped clean of them.
