We didn't have many problems with Mariners Cove until it was time to move.
While living there, we had problems with noisy neighbors & our car being vandalized by an 8 year old boy - who was caught in the act & the mother refused to pay-

When it came time to relocate (official military orders), we were only 20 days from our 1 year mark on our lease. They slapped a huge lease termination fee (the called it something else) - We reminded them we were military so military clause (the right for early termination without fees) applied. SO because they didn't call it early termination fee, they were ALLOWED to charge it. We waited for 6 months to get our deposit back. When we called, they said we were not getting our deposit back because our cats peed all over the carpet (we didn't have any pets!!!) and they spent $1200 to replace it.

Document everything if you're military! They WILL screw you over! Take photos of the condition of the apartment before you move in and move out. They'll find something to charge you an arm & a leg for.

That is a dang shame. For the amount of money they charge people to live here and to take advantage of the folks in the military...I hope they have a special corner in ---- for people like the rental company. Anyone seen that Joe Pesci movie the super? I think they need to do the super 2 on this community.

Really wish I would have read all of these before we moved in here. Looks like they don't care about any military. How sad. And they really do have shady management.

That's a shame...I do see some shady things, Like when you sign the lease, they don't tell you that you have to pay water, gas, and trash. You find this out after signing...
