its nice to know that a us citizen comes second to illegals living in the apartments , the waterbill doesnt know one day from the next if it wants to be high our not(rip-off) its hard to pay your water bill and someone elses that you dont even know ..... cars is getting broken into the police is in the complex every other day loud noise dog s*** every where, you can never get anything fix right in your apartment the frist time, you can hear the next apartment flushing there tulet office staff is are not friendly far from it. Im glad im gone now never will rent again. also theres a bug problem in the apartments.

Wow, I am very surprise to see this review. I have lived here for the last 2 years and have always had my maintenance problems fixed in a timley manner. I am not sure what you are referring to. As far as Illegals I beleive we all have gone through an extensive credit check OMG did you forget the 20 page application I am sure you remember this. How can you even be so racsit and go on about the illegals from my history school days I beleive we are all illegals. hahahaha you need to go back to school and learn your history. Funny thing is that you also talk about the Bug problem. No matter where I have lived in virginia Beach I have had problems It's an oceanfront problem. OMG you are so stupid probrably upset cause you probrably got evicted. hahahahah you are a complete looser.

I'm guessing that the response from above is one of the staff memebers in the apartment complex. It is really bad when you walk into the office to put in a work order and to explain that you have roaches, your heat doesn't work, the people above you are loud, there is no parking, your apartment has been broken into, your car has been hit in the parking lot, your fridge has not worked for months, you have a gas leak, your bath tub is absolutly disgusting from the people before you, your carpet has stains, you have fleas from the people before you, and the doors are falling off and the apartment staff are begging you to put a good review on here. NO WAY RUN FAR AWAY and any good reviews are probably coming from the staff themselves. They are not friendly, they are uncooperative, and its just a disgusting dirty place to be. AND YES YOU PAY WAY TO MUCH FOR WATER AND THEY CAN"T JUSTIFY WHY

only a staff member would put the comment from 12/15/2007. who would even guess that anyone would have gotten evicted based on the comment. the staff monitors this site all the time in hopes to stir people away from negative comments. all the negative comments are TRUE!! and the scottish lady is RUDE!! management does not want to hear your complaints and how would you remember a 20 page application--THATS THE STAFF WRITING!! there is NO REAL CREDIT CHECK--BRING MONEY AND YOUR IN!!! HHHMMM!! it very nice that all staff members (liza, jenn, jean, beverly) are actually sitting around writing there own positive reviews instead of fixing apartments. unless you love roaches, like to pay other people water bills, dont need parking, like a lot of noise, and really just want to be uncomfortable, and want to live in the ghetto, then this is your home!! the staff knows its true and guess what?? I STILL LIVE HERE AND WILL NEVER RENT FROM ANOTHER AIMCO PROPERTY! rent is first, then your complaints, and lastly fixing your apartment. tell the truth staff--we know these are your positive comments!! youre miserable too working here!!! we see it everyday how much you hate working for the scottish lady but we know shes working towards getting implants!! when the rent goes she will have enough to cover them--she should be able to get it out of the ridiculous attorney fees that everyone complains about! and to think we are all military--cant wait to see them on the DO NOT RENT LIST!

My lease is almost up and I am so happy! I really hope people do come on this site and realize that this is one of the worst places to live. It is a shame when people complain that they are given the silent treatment and no changes are made.

I agree with most of the comments. I lived in Mariner's cove when it was called "Pembroke Courts". The pest problem was horrible, there were roaches everywhere. I never seen any crime problems and if I did I would assume that the police needed to patrol the area more (the police station is right across Independence blvd.) When people say that there are a bunch of illegal aliens staying in an apartment it irritates me to no end. There are more than likely a lot of "non-white" people staying in an apartment. I do believe Mariners cove should make every attempt to eliminate the pest problem, because it is disgusting.
