This is not a professional place to work or live. They treat their employees bad along with the residents, and they fire the good people. The reason The Mayfair sucks is cause it really needs to clean up the management. Run dont rent or work from Landmark Properties, they don't follow the employee manual. The regional manager is a drunk along with the Lead Maintenance. Also, I dont approve of how they treat the residents, they dont fix anything, the apartments are old and falling apart. Beware when you moveout they will charge you several hundred dollars and you will not get your deposit back. This property needs to be shut down, also, if you go to rent, and you dont move in, they will charge you for rent without signing a lease, which is wrong. Hopefully one day the Mayfair will get what they deserve.

Sounds like someone messed up and got fired, and is pissy about it-- no company fires good people for no reason.

The manager who wrote this review in January just got fired in October. They fired the whole office even though the secretary in the front should not have been fired. The place is a whole, projects in the ghetto are better maintained. Rats and roaches. Bedbugs are also a problem. The management company is horrible and nonresponsive. they are now pushing a Sure Deposit bond that if you chose it, you jeopardize your chances of ever getting any kind of insurance if you do not pay LANDMARK the money they steal from you when you move out. Just DONT DO IT...keep looking. Let them keep their craptastic apartments. Horrible, horrible place......just keep looking. Look at the unkept grounds, the dingy front doors, the shabby kitchens, the bathrooms, the leaks that they repair with paint. The front door locks do not work and the company refuses to rekey the locks-if you like to be locked out in the middle of the night because your front door lock will not turn, this is the place for you. A they will not admit, one WHOLE building was infested with bedbugs, they made a family move out because they blamed them. The family had lived there forever. They change office staff on the regular, blaming lowly staff for poor rental results when any person looking to rent would not pay that expensive rent for apartments in that condition. When you go ask to walk the grounds, pay attention to the breezeway and the stairs leading to apartments and how unsafe they are, especially for kids and older people. Look at the water that stands in the breezeway and attract mosquitoes, and rats. You will want to leave within a month and they do not release you from your lease for ANY reason. You will be held responsible until they rent your apartment. It is not worth it. STAY AWAY
