Good Apartment For Like Living in The 80's No Doorbells! No Ice Maker

The first floor apartment is good to live into if you want to live in the Retro environment like you did when you grew up with your parents. Walls are paper thin so you likely hear your next door neighbors music more or if you turn yours up
you will have to worry about bass response rattling the walls and then you have to adjust your equalizer settings and turn down your bass enhancement device cause it annoys the neighbors sometimes even a small radio. I never get a chance to turn my music up.

Radio Reception: If you are a shortwave radio listener, put get better reception you need to string wires inside not outside. And use indoor antennas for FM
and AM. Also when you are in here experience bad FM reception cause are close to
WXMM 100.5 Max FM's transmitter intermod.

Internet Wireless Security : When you first move here, you need to secure your router cause everyone out here is a wardriver and uses up bandwidth and will try
to break into your PC.

Cell Phone Reception : Signals are weak here around 2 to 3 bars, with T mobile edge
connections, you are lucky to get a fair signal.

DTV and TV reception : If you want to pull in DTV digital TV signals you need use
use a rabbit ears or get cable or satellite TV. Reception here is moderate to
fair, not all stations in come in here.

Heating and Cooling : Is good, but you must keep a fan with you to keep the costs down such as a fan that stands up. The A/C does work very well in the summertime.
Beware that when you use the heat, that the heat uses the gas and electric while the
A/C uses just the electric, but can bring up your electric bill if not careful.

Cooking and Refrigeration : Is good, but when you cook you are using a gas stove just like they did back in the 50's to the 90's. So gas cooking can be retro
living. The refrigerator is good, but does not hold alot of good in there you need
to do grocery shopping every 1 to 2 weeks to keep food in the house. There is some
room for a small table in the kitchen. This place could use electric ranges instead of gas ranges, cause gas ranges are more prone to fire problems and grease fires and
cooking runs up the gas bill. Also the refrigerators need an upgrade, cause these
days the refrigerators in modern homes usually have a water faucet or ice maker or both. So the refrigerators here are small and OUT of DATE. Living in this apartment is like living in the 80s when my parents use to live in plaza apartments
and Tree house apartments.

Laundry : If you need to do the laundry the laundry costs are like $1.50 for the first load. And there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers. You need about $20 for alot
of laundry.

Bedrooms: The rooms are quite large, but not good for people who have alot of stuff in their apartment, and daily cleaning and trash takeout is a must. Good place to play and study.

Living Rooms : This room is good for family get together s and also coffee breaks, and movie nights. Also its good for having a small PC or laptop in there to browse the web. This place needs a electronic or wireless doorbell cause when you are waiting for your packages some people don't knock on the door loud enough then you end up missing your package deliveries. So you have keep your music down or TV down just hear a slight door knock. Still you miss out on your package or pizza deliveries if you don't listen for the door.

One day they should add survillance cameras around these apartments outside and monitor the crime activity even out in the parking lot, but you know how the
economy is they cannot afford it, they are so cheap here!

These apartments should be cheaper to live in due to the lack of things that are necessary such as a doorbell which everyone else has and a decent electric range
stove and slightly bigger refrigerator with an ice maker. Having a refrigerator
without an ice maker and gas stove (grease fires) is like living in 80's. I remember these days this is 2009, not 1989 I am 31 years old not 11 years old!!
Please bring doorbells and new updated energy efficient refrigerators with ice makers!
