I had to move out of my unit number 1410 because there was mold growing 4 inches from the wall in the kitchen and pantry due to a leak in the wall. I complained for 3 months with no help from the staff or from the management at fairfield properties (the actual owners) either. When the maintenience person looked at it he taped black plastic garbage bags over the area and said I shouldn't have anymore problems since the situation has been contained. I have pictures and the letters from the property itself if anyone wants to view them. I had to move out after a a few weeks because I am allergic to mold and started having problems with my teeth becoming brittle from the mold. I advised the management of this to and they did nothing again. Now they are trying to charge me over 3100.00 for having to move out. I have contacted the better business bureau and they advised me to contact the board of health which I am doing tomorrow as well as consumer affairs. If they do not make this right I will also be contacting Wavy New 10 with the pictures and the letters from the apartment complex.

I lived there 4 years and I had the same mold problem in my bedroom. Sometimes the water poured down the wall like a waterfall. Maintenance could never stop it. The carpets were always soaked. I had to move out.

I just had the same problem when the storm came a couple of weeks ago, from what I heard there where over 70 units flooded and the staff could not care. When I went in to complain the office staff member was too busy eating a sandwich and talking to her boyfriend, and then told me that's what you get when you live at the beach how dare she.Do not live here from what I have seen there are a lot of people moving and as soon as my leasse is up I am also leaving, this place sucks.
