The apartments are a joke. There is one outlet in the bathroom, the pipes leak, there is dirt and grim in the cracks and corners of everyroom, that no amount of scrubbing can get rid of. The bathroom tile is old and disgusting, and the kitchen floor is chincy. The windows are ridiculously shaped, so you can never get curtains or blinds that fit. And it doesnt help with the "safety lights" that have been put out. It's like sleeping in a light house.
Parking is horrible. It isn't safe to park your friends and family on the back roads, and its a very big inconvience if you want to have family and friends over.
The people in the office are very, very rude. The people that live hear are for the most part inconciderate. They party till 3 or 4 in the morning on week nights. They slam doors, blast music and fight and yell in the early hours of the morning.I'm only 20, but hearing that while I'm trying to sleep is a joke. I've heard about gangs in this area, and there is plenty of grafitti to prove that they are around. Police are constantly coming in and out of the apartments. I've even had to call the police bc of noise. It's not safe at night, and I would NEVER recomend these apartments for people who have children.
The laundry is horrible. If you don't want to pay 4 dollars to do a single full load, then you have to do a half. Because if you do a full load, the clothes are just damp enough from the dryer that you have to put in a dollar fifty to dry a load completely. Which is time consuming. Also there is ONE washer and ONE dryer to 8 apartments. So you are always waiting, and people go to other buildings to use the other washers and dryers.
There is really nothing good I can say about these apartments. The insulation sucks, we pay over 100 dollars a month to air condition a 2 bedroom. I don't know why we pay for water when the pipes leak so much that you cant take a shower. I called matinence and they said "the building was old, and there was nothing we can do"
I can't wait to move and I do not recomend this place to anyone.
