Like peace and quiet' Don't move here!

Ugh, where do I start'
I got one of the "newly renovated" units, which in a nutshell, is like a shined up trashcan. The painters covered all of the outlets (including phone jacks) with paint, and got it on the carpet around the molding. The cabinets weren't replaced, and they look like they were just thrown together. I had to put down shelf liner because of all the wood splinters inside of them. The carpet looks dingy, and has several stains on it that I didn't notice when I first moved in. The bathtub was installed improperly so water pools in the back of it. A few of the tiles have been replaced...which is pretty obvious since some are white, and other are cream. Windows are not sealed properly. My son's room was extremely hot during the summer, and very cold during winter, while the window in my bedroom had rain literally pouring in during a hurricane. After living here for a few months, I noticed that the lock on the back door did not actually lock. I found this out after one of my neighbors was mugged in front of the building. Took them almost a month to replace it.
My apartment has been flooded 3 times (including the window issue). The water heater in the unit above me broke and poured water into my pantry ruining much of my food, and a rug on the floor. My living room was flooded when the washer in the hallway broke. I had to have large floor fans in my house for almost a week to dry the carpet out, and then had to re-move my furniture that they had moved. I called the rental office and asked them to have maintenance move it for me because I had a bad back, but after 2 days of them not showing up, I just did it myself. Granted, it's not their job, but they WERE the ones who moved it.
I have had numerous problems with my neighbors, who (when the husband is home), throw loud, drunken parties twice a week. I have had to ask them countless times to turn the music down, which never happened. My only relief comes when the police show up. I have had to clean up beer bottles, bottle caps, lime wedges, and a ton of other garbage and toys that they constantly drop off of their balcony. They also destroyed a few of my plants, either by picking flowers or dropping things on them. I've only had problems with one of my neighbors. The rest were pretty quiet and respectful. During the time that I have lived here, there have been 2 different families living in the unit right next to me, and I have never heard a peep out of either one of them, so I don't think that the walls are paper-thin, but I can hear every creak groan, and scream from upstairs.
The neighborhood kids drive me crazy by hanging out around my backdoor, running on my porch, yelling up to my neighbor's kids, and leaving their bikes and garbage in front of the main door to the building.
The parking is a nightmare, and I have a young child, so walking a block in this neighborhood isn't exactly thrilling.
Helicopters constantly circle the neighborhood at least once a week, and I have seen the police in my parking lot so many times that it can't be called a coincidence.
Management isn't too bad, although I sometimes feel that they ignore my complaints. Apart from the door lock incidence, maintenance has always been prompt and professional. The apartment itself is nice for the price, but I definitely would not recommend this neighborhood to anyone with a family to worry about, or with numerous cars. There is street parking as well as the parking lot, but I think everyone would definitely benefit with at least one assigned parking spot per unit.
I feel that home should be where you go to get peace and quiet from the stresses of life, but living here has caused me even more stress. I am constantly anxious about the noise (both from neighbors, and the parking lot), damage to my apartment, irresponsible neighbors, and the people who walk around the neighborhood 24 hours a day.
It's not worth the stress, and I look forward to moving away.
