I looked at several apartment complexes with my roommate and this was surely our favorite for our price range. We've had numerous problems, though, and we've only lived here 4 months. We moved in in the beginning of August and our AC was broken! It took them FIVE DAYS to fix it! I would have assumed that a BROKEN AC in the DEAD OF SUMMER (100 degrees!) would have been a higher priority' Especially for new tenants that are forming impressions' Too, they failed to mention that NO utilities are included (where ALL of their advertisements say water is iincluded) until we were signing our move-in papers. We were 1/2 way thru paperwork and she started crossing out all descriptions of "included water"... Gee, thanks! Our dishwasher does not work currently. They've known for a month; it's still broken. We're both students and TCC couldn't be any closer, which is nice. There is a large student population here, which means a good amount of noise. Other residents here vary immensely. We have everything from troublemaking thugs that hang out in the parking lots, especially at night, to the sweet elderly couple downstairs. There is a good number of elementary aged kids, most of which play right outside their doors. Where I don't blame the parents for not permitting them to stray, the noise factor is not helped. There's a decent amount of parking but you only get one decal per licensed person, and there is no assigned parking. If you come home after dark, don't count on parking anywhere near your apartment. --------, the office manager, is a horrible, rude woman. The rest of the staff is pretty courteous. If you go to the office to request maintanence, they drop everything they're doing and right down the request right in front of you, really paying attention, but then the job never gets done in due time. I don't like that maintenance comes into the home when no one is there... at least give me a time frame if you're going to be coming into my place! The layout is nice. I like it very much. The bedrooms are some of the biggest I've ever seen in an apartment for the price. The kitchen could use some work (broken dishwasher, crooked cabinets, uneven eyes on stove). Management noted that before we moved in, there was "fresh paint!!!"... Must have sent their todlers to do so. Lots of dried drips, and many LARGE areas of different colors (off-white on white). When we moved in, the office informed us of their policy for packages that come in. If the mail-person brings a package to your door and you aren't home, the office places it in their closet so you can pick it up, and they leave a note on your door letting you know that they have it. This was great! But last month they left a note on everyone's door saying that they no longer do this. Everything is sent to the post office and is not allowed to be left at the door. This pretty much means that anyone that works has to drive to get their packages that they pay to have brought to their house, since they generally come during the hours that people are at work/school/etc. I don't want to sound like I'm downing the place too much. Heck, we didn't build the place, and we did agree to live here. The grounds are kept very nice. Lawn crew is always doing something to make it look nicer. Flowers are kept updated, bushes cut back, grass always looks nice, even in winter. Props to the landscapers. The size of the apartment is worth the rent, but I really wish more utilities were included. I would, despite all, recommend the place, as long as you are open and tolerant. This apartment complex isn't mine, I have to share it with everyone else... and no complex can be PERFECT. I just wish they would take a little more action on correcting its numerous, evident flaws. I would renew my lease next year, but the military never keeps anyone in one place too long!

I think everyone should know the manager lady you are speaking of is ------------------------------------- and people should report her immediately! She is the most rude person I've ever dealt with.
