Being in the military, I move ALOT. And, being a mother of 2, excellent maintenance and security are a must. We moved with very short notice, and due to my oldest starting Kindergarten, we didn't have but 3 days to find a place to live, schools and daycare. With no other options, we signed a lease here. It seemed fine at first (or when I saw the model anyway). The day of move in I walked into an apartment that had not been re-painted, the carpets had not been cleaned. Nothing was done after the last tenants left. I complained of course and I was told the maintenance didn't work on the weekends and I'd have to deal with it. I spent the entire day scrubbing from top to bottom. After getting my furniture in things weren't looking so bad. Until I had a maintence issue. I had turned in my check off sheet at move in (2 pages of things that needed to be taken care of), and still to this day they have not been fixed. There are shady people always lurking around, and the neighbors have no consideration for others living here. You'd think I had a heard of elephants living above me. Point is, this place is dirty, unsafe, and infested with roaches. I wouldn't pay half the rent for this place! I can't wait to get out of here!
