I lived in Pembroke Lake apts for almost 5 years. When I first moved in, it was great! The office staff worked with you, the rent was lower, the apartments were well-maintained. Then, Great Atlantic took over. We moved as soon as the lease was up. They raised the rent by almost $200/month to pay for the new appliances and carpet that we didn't need. They have allowed the young people in the neighborhood to vandalize the property. The pool turned green one year, and they just closed it for the summer instead of cleaning it. Crime has started happening in what used to be a family friendly, safe neighborhood. I would NOT move in until Great Atlantic moved out!
