At a first glance in the inside, you think wow, for $999, maybe not that bad. Yea, okay. Pembroke Lakes is like buying a lemon car. They fix it up and it lasts for a little while, then it falls apart. I had part of the door trim literally fall to pieces-it looks as if they just painted it on to make it stay! There was a hand written number underneath- WEIRD! The blinds break ALL THE TIME, from simply opening and closing them- then they have "inspections" and charge you $35 a pop for some bottom of the line blinds that are probably worth no more than $5. Bugs all over, ants and wasps in the summer.. The wasps somehow figure out how to get through the nasty sliding glass doors. Rats in the crawl space in the attic.. To fix the rat problem they stuck a board on a hole that was located over the balcony- HA! Roaches overrun your patio and steps. One of the wood pieces on the patio are hammered together by a rusty nail, as if they couldn't just replace ONE PIECE OF WOOD- Water is done by apartment building, so if you use a lot of water, it may benefit you. If you don't use a lot of water your still going to be paying $55/mth. There was a shotting in the next apartment building.. The flickering outside lights makes it seem like a scene from a slasher movie. The only thing that is remotely good is the location. This property is run by Great Atlantic- a real piece of work. They also run another complex which is worse.. STAY AWAY- you can get much, much better apartments for the same price- PEMBROKE CROSSING across the street is the same price and a lot nicer..
