Horrible - do not rent from them

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I lived in Pembroke Square Apartments for two years, from Dec. 2002 - Dec. 2004. It was ok to start for a young couple like us who didn't have a lot of money, but it went down hill fast. The crime in the area is horrible. In the time I was there, I had my car broken into and the cd player stolen, as did several other tenants. The landlords don't care, they said it wasn't their problem. Then towards the end of my time there, people began getting attacked outside my apartment building and the apartment above mine was broken into while the lady and her son were home! Again, the landlords did nothing, couldn't even send a letter around warning people of this, so I AM!!! I am hoping you will read this if you are thinking about moving there because of the low rent. You get what you pay for. The rent might be lower and it might be in "Town Center" but that does not mean it is a good place. We found out the hard way, please don't get yourself stuck in the lease there, you will regret it. Another problem is the noise, which the landlords do not take care of either. Dogs barking, kids yelling in the hallways, and people stomping above you.
