Avoid making the horrible mistake of moving here, especially if you have children and like to be clean and safe!

I realize we get what we pay for and with this place being the cheapest in the area, I originally thought it would be worth it...I was wrong and this became apparent as time went on. Here's a SMALL list of problems I've dealt with and am currently dealing with, I recently filed for a month to month lease which adds $100.00 to the rent; I now gave my 60 day notice to vacate:
Rats, mice, roaches, ants, homeless junkies, (who have been using a portion of our building as a toilet which wasn't taken care of until I notified the local health inspector) thieves, (everyone in my particular building has had their vehicle broken into at one point in time including myself, just check with Officer Spratling and detectives Philleo and Youmans of the 3rd precinct. Thank God for renters insurance by the way! Marquise Lamont Todd is just one of many thieves who target this are and was the person who stole my property, they found his name at a cash converters as the person who sold my stolen equipment.) drug dealers, and this place is a safe haven for illegal aliens,(check the local news from sept. 2007, immigration had a field day.) Not to mention a current resident has been and continues to dump their cats' litter boxes all throughout the property; the sad thing is every spot they chose to dispose of this stinking mess is within 20-35ft. of the dumpster! (just a reminder of what kind of people live comfortably here.) The list goes on and on but I'll leave it to those poor unfortunates who continue to live here to tell you if it ever improves.
By the way, the new heating/cooling units were put in because of a fire that was caused due to these units being so incredibly old, (look it up, I believe it took place in Oct. 2005 in building 4701.) I was recently told by the girl at the front desk that nothing anybody says will be taken seriously unless it's in writing and even then you'll be lucky to have your problem rectified within due time. The on sight plumber is a great guy but he'll even tell you that he can only do so much since "Everything needs to be replaced because it's just so old."
Don't give S.L. Nusbaum and Pembroke Square your money, they're lousy slum lords with no regards to us hard working citizens!
