I have lived here since the early 90's. Yes there are squirrels, cats (that people let out cause they don't want them any more or caused they moved). What do you think Pembroke is suppose do about them, Kill them'!'! The maintenance is great! Yes, my celing had leaked but they came right out and stopped the leak and yes maybe some people would think maintenance took a while to fix it, but if you stop & think a wet ceiling is not something you can fix over night, it has to dry out. As far as sex in the hall, and guns shots, this is so far from the truth!. I am a smoker and I don't smoke in my house, I have a beautiful balcony,(where alot of apts. don't have) that I am out on all the time and NEVER once heard any gun shots or seen anyone having sex in the hall, but even if this is true, did that person call the police or Pembroke's Security' My Grandmother told me a long time ago, you can't please everyone, how true that is. I can say that Pembroke Staff sure gives it 100%. I have a feeling the ones that posted here is people that you could not please and any time!!!!

you must live near the front office. I am sure there everything is neat and clean and taken care of in that area.

Waaait a minute -I have given this place every single opportunity, and while there is no sex in my hallway, they came out to repair three things - and not one of them is fixed. My ceiling still leaks, my toilet still runs constantly, and i STILL have brown MOLD in every corner.. I am very clean and this drives me nuts! it's all I can do to bleach my bathroom once a week if not more to keep the mold from hurting my cat who already sneezes a lot. I dont know who you are, but I would not recommend this place and can't wait to get away. Not to mention, my car has been broken into twice and two of my neighbors' cars broken into this past month. Remember, though, that the place is HUGE and there are different sides of the complex that seem to experience different things. The maintenance responds fast - but didnt read their work order because nothing was fixed.
