No joke this is one of the Ghettos of Virginia Beach. We would not let our child out after dark. Squad cars show up on Thursday after dark and are guaranteed to give the parking lot a flashing blue and red light show all weekend long. There are fights that include bottle breaking, gun shots and loud mouth crazy people jumping all over residents cars, not to mention drug dealers that stand in front of apartments as soon as the sun goes down.

Next the office staff. The people in the office changed 4 times while I lived there, so any problems we called about were completely ignored. The staff seems pleasant until you actually need something, then they flat out ignore any concern you may have.

Maintenance seriously does not fix it the first time, or the second and possibly the third. From the leaking fridge, to the stove that wasn't grounded, to the dishwasher door falling off, or just not working at all. Then the toilets that wont flush, and the dilapidated bath/shower area. Leaks that turn the tile purple, and the list goes on.

Make sure you explore several apartments before you sign a lease here.
