These people will scam you and not think twice about it!!! My roommate and I found Reflections to be a nice place on our first visit, so much so that we signed a "pending lease" and scheduled a move-in for the following Saturday. We were told we could come by on Thursday and see the apartment, because by them maintenance would be done working on it. We showed up on Thursday, only to be turned away by our leasing consultant with the rather flat explanation of "her manager hadn't cleared it yet." A phone call would have been nice...On Friday, my roommate and I get a phone call from our leasing consultant saying the rent amount we had AGREED upon, and signed our pending lease on, was going to be $100 more a month, because one of their consultants in another state had messed up our yearly income amounts, by $10,000!!! The day before we were to move in! We had our stuff packed, a truck rented, people lined up to help us move, and we were told we couldn't move in with the previously agreed upon rent! The staff there said they would try to get it fixed, but when we confronted them about it, they became immediately defensive, and not at all apologetic. We just decided to go ahead and back out of the lease, fearful that this was a sign of horrible things to come! I would not recommend this apartment complex to ANYONE!!! Please don't go here! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!!

You must have wanted one if the few income restricted units they have the feds don't play. You gotta make very little to get one of those bad boys. I ain't gonna lie I tired to get one too. But the ferdral government checks out everything. You know how much you make just like i know how much I make. Nice try!

Actually, I didn't try to scam them. My roommate and I qualified for the lower income apartments, and it was an error made by someone in an out of state office that knocked us out of it. The staff knew of the problem before hand, our leasing agent told us she was aware that the error could be made, yet she failed to let us know before she sent the paperwork off. And when they realized there was a mistake made, they were very unapologetic over it.

you seem to be the one who's defensive. You should prob be more defensive toward the Housing department. Odds are they are the ones who recalculated it differently. Good luck with that. It is what it is. Either you qualify for the low income or you dont. Our experience has been that even at the higher rent, the quality of living is better than ANY of the surrounding communities. Used to live at the one right down the street! Good luck with your search though.
