I would like to start to this out by saying hello to the staff. I know they read these because one day after 4/22/2008. I had gone into the office and the Manager ( I believe her name is -------, I'm probably wrong, but she is the lady with ------ hair in the ------------------------) Was telling me how she gets emails from these sites whenever anyone writes a review. She was telling me all about the guy who wrote about her evicting him for his neighbor towing a car. She was not speaking very nicely of him. (Which by the way I was there that night and I was his balcony neighbor...She was in the wrong for evicting him, he litterally had nothing to do with the tow. It was the guy below him. Good Job, lady). So to start...as you can tell the staff is completely unproffessional, they even go so far to talk rudely about other clients to clients. Just a bunch of gossipers.
Now, a little about us. My Husband was in the Navy, just like more than half their tenants. We lived there for one year in a 2 bedroom apartment and then 4 months in a 1 bedroom apartment. Worst place I have ever lived in.
Lets go down the list shall we:
Parking is terrible. Not only can you not find a place. Our 2007 GT Mustang got keyed all the way around it. Our other car had wet leaves blown on it by the gardening team. I still do this day I have leaf prints all over my paint job. Some spots are soo narrow they are completely pointless. If you want a reserve spot you're going to be paying 80 dollars or more for it month and it wont be guaranteed anywhere near where you live. Towing is bad. I have seen the Tow truck driver ram the car he was towing into another one and still drive away. You're car is pretty much going to be junk if you live here.
Noise, you can't escape it. Walls are sooo thin you can hear everything. We lived on the second floor twice. Our 2 bedroom apartment the people above us were constantly fighting or having sex. Thats all you could hear all day long was them walking around, fighting and whatever they do in the bedroom. When I say you can hear everything I MEAN IT. Word for word. Terrible.
Ground are ugly and nasty. They have a 75 fee if you don't pick up after your pet and they obviously don't in force it cause there is just dog poop everywhere! They rarely mow. They rarely blow leaves away (which is what caused the above complaint)I would never let any of our future children play on that unsanitary, unsafe playground.
Safety... Here are the big complaints! So, last year probably in May I believe. My husband was deployed and I was alone. At about 2:15 am, 2:30 am. There was gunshots in the play ground area in front of our apartment. I looked out the window and could see a white car, but the head lights were on facing me, so I couldn't see anyone. It went on for about 15 minutes. 5 minutes after it stopped, the cops showed up with their guns out walking around. Scary! But thats not the scariest of it all. January of this year, right before I moved out of the 2 bedroom. I was again alone cause my husband was gone on deployment and Some one tried to open my front door. I ran to the door and I could hear the guy running back up stairs and slam his front door. It was the people above us. We have friends who have told us horror stories about their apartment getting broken into here. Make sure you get renters insurance!
Construction, the apartment lay out makes no sense. Every bathroom there probably has black mold, since the steam from showers has no way to escape. That will shut them down for good.
Maintenance. Really I never had to get anything repaired, But I do have a complaint about the Maintenance staff. Super Bowl Sunday 08 We were coming back from watching the game. 2 members of the Maintenance staff a bigger black male and a older white male wered driving around with beer in their maintenance golf carts screaming " GO STEELERS!" So not safe...would you want your children running around when they are pretty much driving drunk''' I don't think so. Just goes to show even more how unproffessional they are.
Staff, again just unproffessionaly and rude! God forbid they be wrong! They can never be wrong! In, Fact I'm getting charged 400 dollars for an imaginary dog. Yep thats right folks, 400 dollars. Thats already minus the 300 deposit so technically its 700 dollars. 105 for missed pet rent for the imaginary dog. and 331.60 for a pet fee that no one explain how they got that total, they just made it up apparently and trying to make an excuse of why they are charging me for it. They are just upset cause we had a legit reason to break lease ( my husband was getting out of the Navy). Soooo not military friendly, even though the Military pays their paychecks. We lived there for 4 months never heard anything about having a dog, 2 days after we told them we were breaking lease is when they informed us about having a imaginary dog. They lied saying they saw my husband walking it when he had been gone for 10 weeks. Then when they got caught lying about that they switched it to seeing me standing on a corner smoking a cigarette like I'm some kind of prositute. First of all, I don't smoke!!! Second of all, I was pregnant so I wouldn't have ever smoked. Unfortunately due the stress of moving and getting slapped with fees I miscarriaged. So thanks Reflections!!! We will pay the fee, but we are currently trying to get a hold of Navy Legal since they are treating a Veteran unfairly. I'm also seeing if we can get them black listed by the military. So whenever anyone new moves to town, the Military will tell them NOT to move here. If you're in the Military don't do it. Even if you're not don't do it. Bunch of Liars and its a bad neighborhood!
