I am currently relocating out of state but have resided at Rose Hall for a year. Most reviews I have checked out at my new place pretty much seem biased toward one way so I understand how it can be convient to someone who does research to find a new apt in the area.

Scraping the surface... I have lived in Virginia Beach pretty much all my life so I have definatly seen the good and the bad with my friends moving out and others as well to not to my standards of places to consider home. The ultimate flaw of Virginia Beach has to be it is a military community which you get faced with what I call military dimwits. The generals, commanders, higher ups are all obviously living in houses and homes not apartments. So it does factor in the good and the bad if your lucky.

Namely if you ever goto a court hearing in the city you will be amazed at how many sailors and military alike are in their uniforms for speeding/drunk driving etc.. Well this is what you run into when you live here.

The structure and community is by far one of the best kept properties I have seen with an exceptional and understanding staff. There are annoyances such as huge speed bumps and living next to an interstate. But by far there setup is very nice and professional. If I ever had an issue with a unit they were out to the apt rather fast.

I read a post on wall structure, while I lived upstairs it was never much of an issue to me, maybe being on the first floor would yield diffrent results ' Being a humid city if you unfortunatly get stuck with a stinky apt in your complex chances our when you walk by their door you will smell their corrosion.

Once again my biggest quam were the tools that resided their that had issues with their girlfriends or stupidity alike, that would drive around in their mustangs and huge ford trucks to make up for what they lack in more important aspects of life. Go figure

To break this down fairly heres what I would say, no review that is one way negative or positive is ever a good review in my opinion. Having said that here are my findings...

Pros:
Great friendly staff
Nicely kept property
Fitness Center and Public Pool<-(disgusting..)
Easy access parking
Very discreet community from the city
Brick Structure

Cons:
Large Speed Bumps
Public Pool -(to some this is a plus but to me swimming in childs urine from shanikas babys momma is downright gross)
Navy/Military Community Idiots

I think you need to watch your mouth!! It is no surprize that it is signed anonymously. I think if you want to give your opinion about something you should be affraid to put your name. I see alot of conflict in your future, just by the way you talk on here. Hopefully someone somewhere will give you a reality check. I would but again you signed anonymouse. And everyone knows the deal about public pools, and i can pretty much guarentee that no parent lets their child urinate in the pool. you need to buy a house and be by yourself, your not too freindly, and probably that is what is holding you back, and what your so upset about, not the apartment!!!

Unbiased?? Okay, so your opinions of military people are unbiased? HA. We didn't all choose to be in this crap hole of an area, sadly we are here because we have to be. Without the military in this community, it would be more of a shat hole than it already is.
