Walk through inspection for move-in. I noted all the discrepancies on the checklist, expecting them to be corrected in a timely fashion. Well, here it is a year later and I am still waiting for some of the issues to be fixed. I had to clean out the fireplace myself because the cleanup crew didn't do so before I moved in. I had to wait 3 months for a closet rod in the master bedroom. Paint spots and stains on the carpet from the maintenance people, broken vinyl vertical blinds on balcony doors.
Trouble call to maintenance to fix the toilet because it wouldn't flush resulted in the flapper valve being replaced, but the flushing arm mechanism was rusted through. Took the filters out of the heating unit and still haven't replaced them.
Maintenance staff personnel are ineffective at doing their jobs, leaving sarcastic responses to maintenance fixes.
Buildings are poorly insulated, lots of drafts, heating units are ineffective.
Raised the rent by $64 a month in a one year period. I could understand the rental increase if the apartment complex were properly maintained and the money was spent to upgrade the carpeting and the appliances (which have rust spots on them) but it isn't.
I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
