My husband and I moved in September 2008. I wanted someplace that I can feel safe since he's in the NAVY and deployed a lot. The rent is a bit high, we're paying 1040 for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but that's the price you pay for feeling safe and living in a tourist area. Our apartment is completely renovated, new appliances and flooring, only problem we have is the the windows are sticky, supposedly those are getting replaced at some point in time.
They are a bit tow happy here, but if you park in the right spot there usually isn't a problem. All in all, I enjoy living here and the amenities are nice gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

I love Runaway Bay! The office staff was very friendly when I came in to rent an apartment. I absolutley love the lake that is in the middle of the community, and even my neighbors are super nice. The only thing that I have a problem with is some people walk their dogs, and leave the pet feces on the ground. That is just disgusting, if we could try to keep the community looking as beautiful as it does, I would stay here as long as I am in VA
