Nice place.

I've been living here for two years and find many of the reviews on this site accurate.
Pros:
-Minutes from the beach.
-Stores located within walking distance.
-Park adjacent to property.
-Gated community.
-Almost surrounded by trees.
-Friendly staff.
-New appliances/fairly new buildings.
-Grounds are well kept.
-Washer & drier in apartment.
Cons:
-Noise! The apartments are almost in a strait line with the runway, so jets frequently fly overhead. It is possible to hear loud conversations through the walls and doors opening and closing.
-Cost. $100 to $200 less or utilities included would have been the proper rent.
-Bugs. Nothing too big, but I get the occasional spider or house centipede. I do reside on the ground floor, so that may make things worse.
-Parking. The lot, especially the arch, is full by 6pm. Parking in the "overflow" lot is not by any means far, but it becomes a nuisance during the rainy season.
-Noise. It's worth mentioning it twice.
Other thoughts:
The trash is located on the far side of the property, but I feel that is the proper location for it. Recycling bins where recently added, which I really appreciate. There is a "No washing or performing maintenance on you car" policy, so the parking lot does not have electrical plugs or water faucets.
Overall, this is a nice place to live, but the noise and cost prevent this from being a great place to live.
