Live Here...Used to Like It

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
When my roommate and I first moved in, we absolutely loved our apartment. Being our first apartment, we thought that we really got in a great deal: 2br/2ba, washer/dryer, and fireplace. It seemed nice at first, but then it just fell off. We have had so many Leasing Managers I can't even count. A new company took over not too long after our move, and the first few people had no knowledge and clue of anything. It took them so long to answer questions or give mainteance requests. I had to contact the general manager of the company because we were so fed up with everything.
For $865/month, which will now be the price of the one bedroom apartments, it is definitely not worth it all. We expected our rent to be higher because of all the amenties that we desired but at the price you would think that we were staying in an abundance of space. The apartments are quite small.
The neighbors are good people. Everyone keeps to themselves so I can't complain about that. The parking is limited because there is only one assigned parking spot per apartment, and there is not too much guest parking spaces near your apartment (unless you are on the back side).
Overall, it has been rocky. I went from loving my apartment to counting down the days before I move. While it is cozy, its a little too small for comfort and pricing.
I would recommend this apartment if you are interested in paying for a small place with a fireplace. You should really just pay a mortgage. It does a have a nice ambience to it, but beneath the surface, its not really worth it. The way I see is like this, if the people who work for the company say they would not live here, then why would I want to live here''
