The reviews that mention the office workers names and how nice they are were probably written by them. No one who actually lived in ST. Croix would say that.
In fact, the apartments themselves are fine (about 20 yrs old, but okay). However, in 3 yrs the management staff has progressively gotten worse. The turnover is ridiculous and each new manager they hire is more and more unprofessional. The current manager (May 2009) is so immature and incompetent that she makes problems worse. Most residents address the assistant or the maintenance guys directly with problems because the manager actually was aware of a family not on the lease & causing a rucus and let them stay. She was also aware that they staged a robbery for insurance and let them stay. When she was finally approached about it by a neighbor that felt unsafe, she called that neighbor in to the office to interrogate her and ask what her problem with this family that was not even on the lease. It took reporting the situation to corporate for it to finally get fixed.
There have also been fees applied to residents rent that the office can't explain. Instead, they blamed these fees on outside sources and still billed residents. The neighborhood could be nice, but the management of it is inadequate, and the office workers are letting just anyone move in. They don't take resident's complaints seriously and use the office for their own personal lives. One day I saw the office manager relaxing at the pool during office hours.
It basically feels like this company is always trying to get an extra dollar by getting over on residents.

I just moved in 6 weeks ago. I found this apartment complex on mynew place and also navy housing told me about it. I applied online, the ladies in the office sent me info as well as emails with all the info on my apartment. The apartment I got is very big and has a washer and dryer in it. I moved all the way from Texas without ever seeing the apartment until my move in day and it could not have been better, It's just what I would have picked out on my own .I'm just here to help out other navy families like myself that might be moving to the area . You also can do the Rpp and get really good rates. As far as them letting anyone move in im not so sure about that because i know they did a credit and criminal background check on everyone that??????s on my lease even my little sister that lives with me that just turned 18. I don't think you have lived in Hell.. Hell is when you can't sleep because you have people shooting at you while you??????re trying to protect your country. If you don't like it you always have the choice to move out ....Oh yeah and if you are looking for an apartment and you say you found them through my new place ?????? my new place will give you $100 bucks .. And you can get $300 for having a friend move in .. so it??????s not a bad deal at all

Once again, the office manager is typing her own responses. You can tell by all of the typos.
