I moved here alittle over a year ago. being that I orignially lived in NYC, i wasnt aware of what i was getting myself into. for the size, the price seems great, but after spending my first week there i realized i had made a mistake. for emergency calls maintance is great. i made a call about a leaking pipe and within 20 min a guy was there to check it out, and it was 10 p.m. however for all other non emergency problems, they surely do take their time. ive been waiting 2 months to get my door fixed. The office staff is okay, you can tell when thier fustrated, but they do try to help out as much as possible. The wrost part about the complex is the ppl that live there. i moved from nyc here thinking that it would be safer for my family, but the want-to-be gansta kids, gunshots, and immature adults proved me wronge. the towing is strickly enforced and the premisses are always filthy with garbage. i was scared to let me kids play outside because of all the other unruley kids cursing, hitting, and threatning eachother. the surrounding complexs are even worse and believe me when i say that everyday when you get home from work you will see all the " gangstas" standing on the corners and in the streets. there are better places to live in VA Beach. Sometimes its worth paying a little more for rent , especially when its to get away from this neighborhood.
