I've live here sine Nov. of 2007 and I haven't had a huge problem. My car nor my husband's car has never been broken into, we've never been robbed or mugged. As far as neighbors go, you can't help who you live next to. But you can go over there, make nice and hope for the best. That's what we did, we introduced ourselves and told them that they were a little too loud and to keep the music down a little and that was quite a few months ago and we haven't has a problem since. They invite us upstairs when they are having parties and they tell us in advance that they are having people over, that it might get a little loud, but to just let them know if it does. There are police patrolling the area all the time, so nothing can really happen anyways. These apartments used to be really bad years ago, but they have come along way. The staff is wonderful... they remember that i was pregnant when i moved in and every time they see me, they ask how the baby is, including the maintenance guys. Yeah, you get what you pay for, like there are pipes where they're shouldn't be and the carpet isn't that great and their paint job isn't top notch, but, that's all because these apartments were build a long time ago... like before they had hot water.... so if you take that into consideration, this place is worth it's monthly price, and not a bad neighborhood to live in.
