I have lived here with my family for just over 2 years. I live in Phase 2, or the new side. I do prefer it to Phase 1. The buildings are nicer and, I think they are better kept. Also, the floor plans are larger. We have an awesome security system that came with the apartment. You must have a land line telephone for it to work, but it's well worth it to me. Even without the system, I feel safe. That means a lot as my husband is gone quite a bit w/ the military. I have had some neighbors that were loud and annoying, but that is not the fault of the complex, they will do what they can to stop the noise, including eviction if need be. It comes with living in an apartment and if you expect silence, you are crazy!

I have never had a problem with parking, the back row as I have heard it called is maybe 20 feet from the front row. Also, walking doesn't kill us. It's never been too far. I have read about rat problems, but have never had any, nor have I heard of any from any of the residents. I know many as I have 2 dogs and walk them at least twice daily through the complex. The office staff is very friendly, but I do agree the manager is never available. He is a busy man, I guess. The ladies in the office can help you with everything just as well. We have never had an issue with checks being mishandled and our water bill is always about the same.

The new cable had a very bumpy start, but now that it is up & running we love it. I wish it was less expensive, but such is life! I don't have internet through them, but i do hear it has many problems, so with Verizon as Phase 2 is not wired to get Cox cable internet. If you live in Phase 1, you can get it.

The maintenance crew is great. They really have an amazing bunch of guys. If something is broken they fix it, I have had issues with a bit of water getting through a window in storms. But, I'm not even upset about that as it was fixed fast and the contractors were here that week. The guys got the area dried up and we were good to go.

We plan to renew our lease for another year, soon. The elementary school is great and my child loves it. It's called Christopher Farms Elementary School if you'd like to look it up, has GREAT scores!
I highly recommend living here and have gotten several people to move in!
