let me start by saying the place that i do rent is a nice big apartment with nice ammenities and its comfortable.Thats where the good about this place starts and ends.first of all i get my car broken into within the first two months of living here and va beach police dont even come out and the complex wants to sweep it under the rug. at least 6 cars on my block alone (cape ann way) have been broken into in the last 3 weeks. it is ridiculous no security or patrols around the complex.another thing if you like not having choice in your cable or having internet PERIOD i dont reccomend this place. The people here have left me high and dry and i have all intentions on moving out asap. PS many Navy -------s live here.

first, you can get verizon directly.. they just have limited slots.. I know because I have it. 2nd don't call people in the military names. They serve your country and put up with enough --------.. more then you will EVER have to put up with in any civilian job. I'm a navy wife, and we are VERY quiet neighbors and because of that I expect my neighbors to show me the same courteousy. If it's late and they are loud.. call the cops to silence them (it works) if it's the day and they are loud call the apartment complex EVERY SINGLE TIME sometimes you might have to every so many hours.. trust me eventually the noise will stop. I had a neighbor who blasted music for 5 hours a day every single day.. I no longer hear a sound out of them. if you want somethings like that to change you have to get off your butt and force it to change. as for the car break ins.. I haven't had mine broken into(same block).. but my car has an alarm system and it lets people around it know that.. I also don't keep anything important in the car that is worth stealing.. the cable isn't that bad.. when I first moved in their private cable line was the best it was 40 bucks, you got all the nice channels and a direct tv movie channel.. I hate paying 65 bucks a month for dish network but hey I always have something to watch.. and if not I hook the laptop up to the tv and watch a movie of my choise.

Hey I agree with you about the apartment stuff, but lay off with the military stuff...if you have a problem with somebody in the military,tell it to their face don't generalize with name calling everybody in this "Military City" not smart if you ask me.
