loud nighbors; not a big deal right' afterall you are living in an apartment. unreliable satellite cable and internet connections; fortunately for me i am a full time student and can just turn to hitting the books and studying when those go down so not biggie there either. flooding every time it rains; i dont have very many valuables just hand me downs so not to much of an issue. poor customer care service from the property manager/office; i keep my interaction with these folks to a minimum so as to keep the frustration level down. However, where i draw the line is when it comes to roaches. Roaches, Roaches, Roaches! I keep a supremely clean enviroment minus the flooding out of my apartment. If it were not for the Roaches, well gosh darnit you would be able to eat off of the floor. But you cant. Because this place is full of nasty roaches. Sure the exterminator comes out (once a month) but im sure that it is too costly for the management to fumigate the whole building like they need to, to solve the issue. I truly regret chosing to live here. Fortunately I will be leaving here shortly. Do not, i repeat, do not move here. Even if you dont mind the roaches then i would recomend moving into some run-down apartment in downtown Norfolk and save yourself 700-800$ every month on rent. Good luck and happy hunting to you. But hey...at least the parking is decent!

come look at birdneck village apartments.. not as pretty on the outside but wait till you see the inside.. it's where I moved to and they have a set amount of rent you pay a month, and free water.
