This apartment complex just switched management. Since then the rent and fees for everything; including parking, has escalated. The pet fee raised from $100 deposit and $10 a month fee to $200 per pet deposit and $20 a month fee. The parking situation was a one numbered space assiged per unit. With the new management, additional registed to residents cars need a parking pass. Guest of the residents need a parking pass from the office which is only good for five days or you can purchase a pass for the entire year for $50 dollars. Even if you are a paying resident your car will be towed by Jack's towing with an $85 fee if you do not have your decal displayed in your car, even if your car has been in the same space for months. There have been notices sent around to the residents by the management that a fee would be charged for trash left on by the dumpsters if the resident is found out. The management has gone through trash to find out who has left trash on the ground. There is also a threat of a fee being charged for cigarettes butts if someone is seen throwing butts on the ground. The management also went around and counted the number of butts she found on the grounds. The managment charges extra fees which are not outlined in the lease in an attempt to collect from residents who do not know that they are not responsible for these fees. The only thing that the management seems to be most concerned about is making sure that the grass is cut. The Maintenance Service is poor. There are only two maintenance men and there are often things that they can not do. The management also threatens charges for certain maintenance problems. The apartments are at least 30 years old.
