We have lived here less than a year and cannot wait to get out. When we first moved in, the apartment inside was clean, but the porch area was a mess and still had junk on it left by the last tenants. The staff is ok, some friendlier than others. My biggest complaint is how they keep the grounds and the construction of the building next door. They have been slowly renovating the buildings because they are pretty old and ours had mold and rotted wood in parts. Well they let the people in the building next to us move out before their lease was up so that they could renovate that building. The only reason we knew it was going to happen was because we talked to a tenant when she moved out, but we never received even a courtesy note on the door letting us know it would be happening. This building is literally five feet away from our front door and sliding glass door, so the walkways and the parking lot are filled with worker's cars, extra dumpsters, tools and tractors, lumber- its a mess! Now I understand that work needs to be done and I'm not blaming anything on the workers, but I do think its outrageous that they can charge us extra every month for a lakefront apartment when now all we see are tractors and torn up buildings and grass. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else, its just not worth the money here.
