We are leaving the community to move back to NY and I can say that when we looked for apartments in NY, it made me want to take my apartment with me. Woodberry Forest Apartments are not luxury, but they are certainly far from the ghetto. I am not an easy person to please as far as living standards go, but I also don't want to spend every dime on an apartment when I want to save for a house. The rent at Woodberry is reasonable and the pros definitely outway the cons. I feel we definitely lucked out on this apartment!

Pros:
-Apartments are very spacious and larger that most others I have been in.
-Rent is reasonable
-Office staff is very courteous and helpful
-Speaking from living on the 2nd floor, I rarely ever hear my neighbors below or to the side of me
-Community is well-kept and people are polite overall
-Maintenance can use improvement as far as fixing things in a neater fashion, but overall they are average
-Water pressure in your shower is wonderful
-Balconies are covered and have storage
-Less than a mile from the beach
-Shopping is just a hop, skip and jump away

Cons:
-You do deal with jet noise
-Fixtures could use updating
-Our cars were broken into
-No washer/dryer hookups in apartment
-Utilities were included when I rented here, but had I re-newed my lease, utlities are no longer included.
