This place would be wonderful if maintenance was up to standards.

"Electrical Problems" you wouldn't believe how bad it is until you move in. It wasn't just me it was the entire "row of apartments" that had to get there electric box replace. They call themselve fixing the problem "NOT"!!!!
Weird thing they had guys come and replace window in the spring. It was funny had to laugh "my next door neighbor window "Fell for the second story" So he spend couple days with a plastic bag over his window he was afraid to touch any window after
A/C and heater (call March 31 to have them check your system before it get hot) or you will suffer the entire summer. Check your heat (Sept 1) so you don't freeze the entire winter! *SERIOUSLY* the heater/ac system is out of date!!!!
Maintenace staff "don't have clue" you will have him as regular visitor "For the toilet issues!!!!! You might see him 7 times in 2 months because the toilet won't stop leaking. Do even mention the dishwasher you might as well give him a cup of coffee and it still not fix.
I reported my dishwasher wasn't working (no lie)early April "he wont replace it still not fix " including the fridge(leaking fridge) only temporary fix. It now Nov it still not fix.

If they can "get the maintenance together the place would be "WONDERFUL!!!!

Oh if you hear them say that got "Tops Grounds Awards" they are lying!!! The grounds are nice...but you would see it advertise everywhere if they did win it!!!!!

YOu might have to fight for a parking space after 11pm!!!! It safe for kids and stuff but you will have bug problem in the summer time!!!

Have bug spray and be a very good "handy man or women" and your LOVE THE PLACE!! If your really good "APPLY FOR THE MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR JOB!! The current maintenance staff need to be replace.

The trash guy will arrive promptly at 7am to make the worst NOISE OF YOUR LIFE!!!! There has been days where I just want to go outside beat the living crap out of the guy!!!!

So if you need your rest make sure you pick and apartment or townhouse furthest away from the dumpster.

They new staff....have good days and especially bad days. "watch out for them ...one minute she snob and the next "b*tch...the next she "ANGEL"...so I usually go into the place ....looking at her 'sideways" LOL....one girl doesn't even speak to you at all no matter what you do (brown car) she strange almost snotty about it!!!!!!

"STAFF NEED TO IMPROVE ON "CUSTOMER SERVICE and THEY NEED A WHOLE NEW MAINTENCE TEAM WITH A REALISTIC BUDGET FOR REPAIRS!!!

Colonial Towne, as part of their very aggressive and ongoing update and improvement program replaced electrical panels in every apt. and all wires to them from the meters. Then they replaced every single-pane window on the entire proerty with brand-new energy-efficient ones. They have received multiple "Best Property" awards and have them hanging on the office walls to prove it. As for maintenance, their staff is one of the most competent I've seen and often work long hours if someone has a problem. This is the first apt complex I have actually been grateful to live in. As for the review I am commenting on - just look at the writer and make your own judgement. I'll bet he or she was evicted for non-payment or being a nuisance and is just mad.

I see eye to eye with the writer response. In most cases that I have dealt with the maintenance crew always seems to be clueless. I think that this complex is still in need of upgrade inside of the apartment. Having the windows replace was a nice touch. Colonial Towne Apartments is old and the plumbing needs major adjustments. The maintenance crew does need to upgrade just bit with experience. I think the apartment complex need to focus inside of the apartment I am having problems with my dishwasher. I call and request a maintenance worker he look at it and play with it a little bit and then leave. My dishwasher will work maybe for a month and then it need to be fixed again. I saw the maintenance guy so many times I just stop calling. I knew then that this guy was surely clueless. In my opinion in this particular apartment it is having serious problems that deal with appliances. DON???T forget PLUMBING ISSUES. I currently looking for another apartment due to fact the maintenance care of utilities inside the apartment are so worn out. The stove have issues and the dishwasher have issue the refrigerator have issues. The electric is a major problem inside this apartment I am definitely have renter insurance. My feeling on this complex it is a GREAT LIVING AREA. Colonial Towne needs major work with the maintenance care inside of the apartment. Ohh, by the way I was never late on my rent and I am not mad. I am simply stating the fact with the appliances and plumbing issues inside of this apartment. The outside of the property is really not the issues. Garage need to dump trash so no complaint on that. In my opinion this complex need to upgrade dishwasher and refrigerator. I am currently looking for another apartment at this very moment due the quality of the inside issues of this apartment. I am willing to pay for luxury apartment price so that I can come home and now wonder what will not work once I come home from long days work. I hope that Colonial Towne will take the time to re-establish the quality inside of the apartments.
