We rented for over a year and had zero problems till it was time to move out! We gave our 30 day notice and they prorated our rent. A few weeks later we recieved a letter in the mail saying we still owed $595.00, for not giving our notice on the 1st of the month, which we actually did, but we didnt have our orders so they wouldnt take the notice until we had the orders.
