We checked out this website when deciding on what apartment to get in Williamsburg
and have no regrets on moving in here.

POSITIVE:
The best thing about this complex is that they're the only apartment complex in town that provides a washer and dryer in the one bedrooms and costs -$1000 (ours is 725/mo), and that allows two cats with no monthly pet fee (only a one-time move-in deposit of 300, non-refundable). There was new carpet when we moved in, and new paint, and everything was clean and in great shape. Whenever we have something that needs to be fixed, it usually gets done the same day without any further prodding on our part. I'm a law student and my fiance works, and most of the people in the complex are families or older people (with a few law students mixed in), so it's really quiet! There are also a few law students mixed in, which is nice. It's very clean and there's no bugs. It's also very safe, and there's never any problems of that sort.

PROBLEMS
My complaints are that the walls/ceiling on the bottom apartment is kindof thin, so if it's quiet enough you can hear the person upstairs walking around and watching tv or whatever, but it's not too bothersome. Also, the one bedroom is really pretty small. You can't wash very many clothes at a time (I'm talking about 3 towels and 2 pairs of jeans), and there's very limited closet and kitchen cabinet space. They also keep raising the rent by $25 each year (so a 1 bedroom now is $750 instead of $725) and the ladies that work in the office are a bunch of incredibly rude and unfriendly yankee -------. There's also a lot of whitetrash that lives here, but they never cause problems.

I'd advise getting on the waitlist early, since they're in high demand. We plan to rent here until I graduate unless we can't afford the increasing rent anymore.
