There are truths and misconceptions on some of the previous reviews seen on this page. Everything concerning the phone companies is no longer an issue, all of those reviews are from 2006 and it has been resolved. While the walls are somewhat thin, it is to be expected as with any apartment complex. There are people moving in and out fairly regularly, and it is for good reason. Spotswood is a safe community for a reasonable price, therefor families rent for a couple months while waiting for a house to be built. The staff is extremely friendly, and maintenance is quick to respond. The only cons I see about this place are that some of the people living here seem to be snobby, not reckless, just snobby (no fault of the complex). The other is that there is limited guest parking. However the office will distribute temporary parking passes for guests allowing them to park anywhere. Dollar for dollar is has the best value for the quality of living you will get in Williamsburg for families/professionals. Extremely safe unlike many other complexes (read news reports on other complexes!!) which was very important for my comfort when my wife is home alone.
