I lived here for one year while I attending the College of William and Mary. After looking all around Williamsburg, my roomates and I decided that Steeplechase was the best bet. Although the price is higher the apartments are very adequate - i especially enjoyed a large closet as well as proximity to Target/Ukrops and small things like attractive landscaping and the free carwash area. The appliances and fixtures are slightly dated although the dishwasher and washer/dryer were replaced as soon as we moved in. We did have a few mice/roaches but any other problems were delt with promptly except for grumbing and prodding the manager. Noise was not generally an issue. One more thing is that I painted my room bright red then covered it with primer but ended up not being a problem at all.
