The apartments are spacious, the grounds are nice and feel very isolated from the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg proper, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. The neighborhood is generally quiet at most times, and for the price, I can't really say that it was a BAD decision to move here. It was however, also not a GOOD decision.
Maintenance is terrible. I'm afraid to use the pool, our apartment was broken into, one of our vehicles was vandalized, and the other broken into, the CD deck stolen and the ignition broken in an attempted theft. We've had water coming out of our toilet for a year, the ceiling in our bathroom collapsed a year ago and the repairs are still incomplete. We had to closet door for two years and some of our carpet padding has been removed due to water seepage and never replaced. The kitchen has clearly not been updated since 1963, and a homeless man used to live in the shrubbery outside our door.

On the other hand, the management doesn't care what you do, really, so we have two cats and a dog. But we ARE moving out due to safety concerns. In the end, I have to say that unless you really can't afford anything else, don't move in here.
