I have lived at Woodshire for less than a year and I already know without a doubt that I will not be renewing my lease. Twice I have seen hypodermic needles on the stairs leading up to my apartment; when I moved in, I saw multiple cockroaches and had to exterminate them myself, despite keeping an impeccably clean apartment; there is always trash on the landings and outside the apartment building; I often cannot park outside my building when I get home later in the evening; and, worst of all, the walls are incredibly thin. Despite the fact that I live on the third floor, I hear everything in the second-floor apartment directly below me. My neighbors have a stereo with a bass system that they play so loud that my floor shakes and I can sometimes smell second-hand smoke in my apartment, also from my neighbors. I am only here in Williamsburg for school, so I am living alone and do NOT feel safe, especially at night. I would not recommend this neighborhood to anyone living alone or with children.
