You can find much nicer apartments than this for less money in the Williamsburg area, look elsewhere. They're on their 3rd or 4th manager in a year, I lost count. Holes in the ceiling and walls from leaky pipes go unfixed. The building's hot water heater has been going out about once a week since December. Ice cold showers suck. The contractors who installed the remodeled kitchens did really cheap work and they are falling apart and look worse than the old kitchens did. Now they want to raise the rent to renew the lease. Everything you have heard about this place is true and even worse. Management is on drugs and alcohol. Drugs are rampant in this complex. Roaches are rampant also. I am ashamed for anyone to come and visit me. People have pets and haven't paid the one time pet fee, not fair to other pet owners. The rent has gone sky high for what! The walls are thin and you can hear almost everything. This is the only complex that houses --------, latinos like about 70%. They can't speak english, they have a sponser who will rent a lot of apartments and about 6-12 -------- in one apartment. When you have a two bedroom apartment, the most you are allowed is only four people. These people are filthy and don't even notify management about the roaches, that is why it has gotten out of hand. I have seen apartments where bathroom ceilings fell in and nothing has been done for at least a year. Because there is so much drugs here, it is not safe to go outside at night. Maintenance is so cheap they only hire temps from unemployment and train them. There are not enough maintenance help. If you have a problem and call the office, they tell you we have major problems and you will have to wait. So, this is normal, they always have major problems, especially the plumbing in all the buildings, especially the first floor. Sewers back up all the time into the bottom apartments and management doesn't even care, they don't disenfect, just blow it dry with an antique machine. The maintenance manager will spend hours and days fixing a unit that is as old as the apartment (45 yrs.) instead of buying a new one. So cheap that is why they have the money. They have earned a reputation for themselves (The Ghetto)..The rent has increased about $50 - $70/mo. People are moving out like crazy. I hope it becomes a ghost town..
