I paid a hundred dollar deposit to holding fee to hold the place for me for week when it would be ready for move-in and paid seperate money order of additonal two hundred to be applied on first months rent with agreement lease would be signed when apartment was ready for move-in. unfortunately in this time husbands unemployment didn't come through over his past employment place fighting it, it was placed in dispute so with no guarantee of receiving it at this point I had no guaranteee of keeping the rent on this apartment paid so decided not to take it at this time. I could understand them keeping the deposit payment but I could not understand why they refused to atleast let me have the advance rent payment back beings I would not be living there. it was bad enough husband lost his job, then to have to be ripped off by this apartment complex.
