I've been here for about a year and am quite happy with the apartment. It's pretty quiet, kept very well, and is conveniently right in the middle of Winchester. The parking lots and walkways are well lit (need to buy curtains...). Maintenance is very responsive; it takes much longer for me to get off my butt and submit the maintenance request than it takes them to fix the problem. I hear very little from the neighbors. My _only_ complaint is that the windows can be drafty. I had to put some duct tape around the edges of one over the Winter, and I could see that one neighbor taped some plastic wrap over his windows. It's not even an issue now that it's warmed up again. They'd probably fix it if I put in the request, but it's just not that big a deal to me. The layout of some of the apartments can make it difficult to move furniture in through the door, but a little persistence will get everything in.

Oh, I was told by the Adelphia (now Comcast) technician that some residents have trouble getting cable Internet in their apartments due to line quality, but I had no trouble myself. Cable TV and Internet worked great. I've since switched to DirecTV for TV. The speed of the cable Internet connection dropped significantly once Comcast bought out Adelphia, but it's still functional and much faster than dial-up. Unfortunately, DSL isn't available in this area.
