This apartment community sound so wonderful at first, but problems with maintenence not being able to fix the problem and the gates not working is a shame. I get this silly notice that the gates will be working right after the memorial day weekend and the it only work for 3 days. I notice the end of the apartment complex gate is working, finally, but what the heck are they doing because the main gate does not work. I paid my rent for a gated community. Maintenence are lazy ass people who just sit in their cars and act like peeping toms. I saw one maintenence getting something out his trunk in broad daylight but the way he did it, his trunk was closed on his back as if he doesn't want anyone to know whats he doing. If i need to get something out my car trunk, it will be wide open!

While we've had issue with our gate system since our inception, I'm please to state that our controlled access entry system is 100% operational. Our service team has extended evening hours on Mon, Tues and Weds from 8am-7pm and Saturday from 8am-5pm.

This is a really weak review. I could understand if there were issues beyond the gate in a new complex. But maintenance looking "as if he doesn't want anyone to know whats he doing" is pretty lame. This sounds like an old lady with nothing better to do but stare out the window and be paranoid. I'm really starting to get skeptical of the negative reviews on apartments in the D.C. area. It seems as if everyone has a chip on their shoulder.

The title of this review is "Not Safe" where are the safety concerns? Growing up in Dale City, I can tell you that your gate not working is not a safety concern, these apartments are in a decent area. If people were getting mugged and cars broken into I could understand, but really, what is your safety concern there?

It's not so much the safety issue of the gates not working as the annoyance issue. My husband and I lived there for a little under a year and the gates were broken at least once a month. Also, his "clicker" for his car never worked, and the office repeatedly changed the batteries in it and promised him it would work in 5 minutes. They refused to give him a new one. Ridiculous.
