I have lived here a year and have loved living here. I am being forced to move because of knee problems - I live on the 4th floor and just can't deal with the pain of climbing all those stairs any more and can't take enough time off from work to let the knee heal completely so I have to move to an elevator building or start planning for knee replacement surgery.

I have found the Bozzuto staff to be excellent - in fact I liked their management style so much that I purposely chose a new apartment in another Bozzuto building.

The apartment I have at Riverside Station is beautiful and the view is just tremendous. I get to sit on the deck in the mornings and watch the sun rise, I get to see boats on the Potomac and I get to see eagles and osprey (among MANY other birds) sailing on the breezes. When I get off 95 or Route 1, the drive into this complex is so relaxing, it just makes me smile! There are no stores nearby so there is almost NO traffic noise which makes it so nice and quiet here! You can walk or jog in the neighborhood without fears of getting run over - that is very nice!!

I have never found one bug in my apartment - NOT ONE! - much different than the place I lived previously. The flying insects outside are sometimes a pain, but when you live near the water, you are going to have to deal with that! A broom on the deck does wonders!

There is no problem finding a parking space, either for me or guests - again much different than the place I lived at previously. I have truly enjoyed that!!

I have never had a maintenance problem in this apartment - MUCH MUCH different that the place I lived at previously.

My neighbors have been great - I've never even heard them - again MUCH different than the place I lived at previously!!

As for the train, well, if you don't like trains, that noise will bother you, but if you want the convenience of walking to the VRE, you are going to have to accept the noise the train makes! And believe me, taking the train is MUCH more convenient that trying to drive 95 or Route 1! I've come to love the sound of the trains. I just wished VRE ran on weekends!

I am so going to miss this place! If it wasn't for the fact that my knee problems are only getting worse, I wouldn't be moving! This place just fit what I wanted in an apartment perfectly because it seems so rural. I love the quiet and I love to see the stars, to see and hear the birds, watching the sun rise, and I don't like being surrounded by people and cars all the time.

But if you are a confirmed "city dweller" who needs stores nearby, who likes nightlife, etc" this probably wouldn't be the place for you!
