I think I would have been better off living in a sewer somewhere. I remember one night sitting there watching my TV when the police come knocking on my door... they had a warrent to search all cars at my building. I complied ofcorse and they found nothing, but my neighbor thought he could sneak off while they were searching mine. Well the cops got him and searched his car, found all sorts of things... a gun, some drugs, about 50k worth of stolen electronics... This made me feel so safe in my apartment. Then there was the time 2 kids tried to set the building on fire, luckly the landscaping sucks so there wern't any bushes around the building to burn.

Then there was the maintanance...
I had a crack (more like a missing section of wall) that needed work, I called and no one came. I had to take pictures of the damage and write a letter siting there maintance guarentee (every day they don't respond is rent free HA HA HA just try to get it) before anyone even came out to look... then it took 3 trips to fix it right.

The bugs... I only saw a few bugs, but the exterminators were even worse than the bugs. I came home after they had sprayed and there was a masiv pudle of bug killer in the hall, not to mention in all my cabinets and drawers (yes that stuff is toxic). I called more than a dozen times asking them to clean it up, I eventualy called the county hazmat number and they sent someone to clean the mess.

The rent... I traveled alot (the only way I could stand to live there is I was never there), so I set up auto pay. Well one month they applied my auto pay rent to the wrong account, then reported me to the credit beru for no paymant. My score droped 50 points and it took 6 months to clear it up, oh and they still sent me notices saying my rent was due even after they admited there mistake.

The comunity...
A bunch of low income families living 10 in a 2 bed room apartment, most illeagle, and no one spoke english. Trash every where, loud music is guarenteed, car alarms all the time (one tome for 8HRS same car). Lots of abandoned looking cars on the street.

Report them to the Health Department. That, along with all of your other issues will be grounds to break your lease.
