first off, the outside of the apartments are just dumpy looking. then when you walk into the building..it's dumpy..and ours always had a nasty smell to it. the smell changed almost everyday..but it was always gross. the inside of the apartments aren't that great looking either. the leasing office tells you that you can't leave food on the counter, or garbadge in the garbadge can over night otherwise you'll have bugs. the bugs are horrible. we called the leasing office and told them that our place needed to be exterminated. they sent someone out..but we weren't home when they came. so they came in anyway. they took everything out of our cubbords and drawers and just dumped it on the floors. we had rice and instant mashed potatoes all over the floor cause they just threw it on the floor. it's been about a month since we've gotten our apartment exterminated and my husband and i still find dead roaches in our kitchen drawers and cubbords. the cubbards have a nasty smell to them. they have since the day we moved in. the parking is okay we never really had any problem with it. they deffintally wont let anyone park in the lot if you don't have a parking pass. the walls are thin. you can pretty much hear everything. the grounds are alright. there's garbadge outside all the time. the inside of the buildings are either wet or there is clumps of dirt and garbadge in the stairways. i don't ever feel safe living here. there are always people standing outside or sitting on the steps. the buildings are pretty much falling apart. when you see them for the first time, you can just tell that they're dumpy and dirty. we hate the fact that there is no washer or dryer hookups. you have to take your laundry to the laundromat or take it to the basement to do it. either way, you have to pay for it. the bedrooms and livingroom don't have lights. you have to have lamps. there is no room for anything here.
we also get random people knocking on our door asking for people we don't know and trying to look in our apartments. we had one guy knock on our door wanting to sell us a blanket. i never feel safe, and i can't wait to move out!
ohh..and one more thing..we only wanted a 3 month lease just so we could have a place to stay until we got into base housing in Quantico. they told us that we had to pay $1158 a month! the aparmtent is WAY too small and discusting for that price!

i was just wondering if you did sign only the 3 month? we just got a call from base housing saying we can move in so were trying to get out of our 1 year lease with bayvue. ive complained so many times about people getting robbed at gun point and how i can not even go outside at night for the fear of something happening to me. i was just wondering if you were having any luck getting out????
