I moved into my apartment here July 2004. Let me first say that these are great apartments but I do have a few complaints...

#1 The bathroom door in my hall opens into the hall instead of into the bathroom (not something i ever would have noticed until i had to live with it)

#2 The parking lot hasn't been paved yet. There are 1-2 feet deep potholes everywhere

#3 Once the parking lot is paved, they will start enforcing the parking rules. You only get 1 parking pass for your car and if you have a visitor, you have to go to the office and get a visitor's pass everytime, or they will get towed. I think each apartment should be allowed 1 permanent visitor parking pass.

A couple other annoyances that you have to deal with pretty much anywhere around here are no insulation (you can hear almost everything from apartments below you) and the bedrooms are rather small and MAXIMUM INCOME REQUIREMENTS...really sucks.

Other than that, these are really nice places. I have a 4th floor apartment, vaulted ceilings, a fireplace...very cozy. The fixtures are pewter instead of that cheap looking brass. They don't mind if you paint, which I like because I don't like having white walls. Like the other person said, the maintence people are great, always on top of things. But I disagree about Brad...he really helped me out. I have lived at Summerland Heights and The Landings and i would say that neither of them even come close to The County Center Crossing apts.

I am going to probably apply for an apt. at County Center tomorrow. The one thing I value is my privacy. Can you tell me if the management come in your apt. a lot? The place I live in now, they have never been in here. They only send maintenance people to replace filters now and then. I don't want to live somewhere that they "inspect" my home at random. I would really appreciate your answer. Thanks...
