Nice but be cautious

I have lived here for roughly a year and don't seem to have too many negative issues with the place. The biggest issue is the trash. The mngmnt. only placed one dumpster at one end of the entire complex for all residents to use. Obviously with so many residents the things overflows often and at times trash is left next to the dumpster which we all know is a potential breeding ground for animals and other concerns. Secondly, the mngmnt. staff has a bunch of new faces which dont seem to know their jobs. You can expect a friendly greeting, but if you go to them with any issues about the complex they may laugh in your face and shrug you off. The only person still working there is the older gentleman which I have been told that if you have a complaint about the complex you cant just talk to him about the issue, you first have to put everything in writing and then you may speak with top management at their leasure.
Barely any drug related issues at this complex and rarely do I hear any loud parties or cars. Seems to be a place for single families on medium budgets trying to make it a home for their family. Dont let the management staff sway you over this place. Appears like a safe enviroment. All apartments are up to date with fire prevention and all appear more than adequately built with little wear and tear issues.
Check local police reports for this area before moving in. This info. should be available through local police office.
one last issue, the ac and heat are sometimes not in sync with the thermostat and it may need attention. If maint. trys to fix it, it may still need to be adjusted. It appears to be off by 10 degrees when you set the dial.
